52708: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's Post-Wedding Party at Magic Mountain

On top of the world since their April 30th I do's, newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's love literally reached new heights on May 13, 2008 as they climbed aboard the Tatsu roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain. At a speed of 62 mph, the joyous screams of the multi-Grammy winner, her "Dream Lover" and their friends echoed throughout the Valencia, California theme park as they plummeted 17 stories during the two minute thrill ride.

People magazine online reports that a banner emblazoned with the words "Mariah and Nick: A Love Story" greeted the lovebirds at the Grand Carousel, where the newly-dubbed Mrs. let her inner child out to play among the hand-carved horses as 100 friends sipped Chardonnay and Hess Cabernet Sauvignon and enjoyed cupcakes adorned with chanteuse's signature symbol, butterflies.

A private party, the lavender and pink balloons that lent an extra touch of flirtatious frivolity to the couple's fete were but a memory when the park reopened to the public the following day.

52408: Matthew McConaughey's Stay in a Massachusetts Inn

Although it may not have been cast as a cinematic backdrop for the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, the Country Garden Inn & Spa nevertheless played a pivotal role in bringing the upcoming February 2009 flick to the silver screen. During production of the movie, the Newbury Port News reports that, following a long day spent on the set, nature-loving luminary Matthew McConaughey would unwind amid the verdant beauty of the Rowley, Massachusetts venue, which offers accommodations inside a 1901 farmhouse, a carriage house adorned with Laura Ashley fabrics, a cozy motel featuring private patios and fireplaces, and a collection of country collection suites, village suites, cottages and townhouses.

Before leaving the Old Colony State, the former recipient of People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive title was Bean Town bound in early May. According the the Boston Herald, the Hollywood hunk was spotted at the Hotel Commonwealth, a 150-room retreat in Kenmore Square. An upscale sanctuary for baseball buffs, patrons staying at the hotel can almost hear the crack of the bat as the boys of summer play ball at Fenway Park, located just moments away.

52208: Gwyneth Paltrow in The Eternal City

Gazing down from a stone monument which guards over Rome's Piazza Campo de' Fiori, the ever-watchful eyes of the 16th century philosopher Giordano Bruno bore witness on May 8, 2008 as production assistants made last minute preparations for statuesque silver screen beauty Gwyneth Paltrow's appearance in an ad for the Italian brand Tods. Walking in a pair of high-rise heels, the Academy Award winner's footsteps echoed on the piazza's cobblestones which lead to an open air market, where six days a week locals and tourists alike can purchase produce and bouquets of blossoms-- fragrant reminders of the days long ago, when the area was a field of flowers (hence the name Campo de' Fiori).

Currently riding high on the box office success of Iron Man, People magazine online reports that the Academy Award winner had also donned a pair of seductive stilettos in the Eternal City the day before, looking red carpet ready in a curvaceous creation by Herve Leroux (formerly known as Herve Leger).

52008: Lindsay Lohan at Historic Hollywood Theater

A hip homage to Hollywood's quirkier characters, the handprints of Zelda Rubenstein, whose portrayal of a paranormal medium in the horror flick Poltergeist sent a collective shiver down the spines of cinema buffs in the early 1980's, and cast members of the 1960's cult TV classic Dark Shadows mark the cement blocks that pave the path to the entrance of the Vista Theater. Since the first silent film flickered across its screen in 1923, a steady stream of cinema buffs have munched on buttered popcorn beneath the crystal chandeliers of this Sunset Boulevard landmark, an architectural treasure whose Egyptian-themed ticket counter was immortalized on May 9, 2008 in a photo shoot with Lindsay Lohan. The carved cartouches adorned with ankhs and scarabs provided a dramatic backdrop for the silver screen star as she posed to promote her upcoming line of leggings.

Dark sunglasses are de rigeur for any Tinseltown temptress, and following the photo session LiLo slipped on a pair of shades for a stroll down Robinson Boulevard, which included a stop at Cuvee Wine & Food. The paparazzi a constant presence, Hollywood TV captured the moments on film:

51608: "Entourage" Filming at Urth Caffe

The bright lights of Tinseltown focused on an environmentally-friendly Beverly Hills boite on May 7, 2008 as stars Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Adrian Grenier filmed a scene for the HBO hit Entourage amid the forest green umbrellas which shelter the patrons outside of Urth Caffe. A staple among the celebrity set, customers frequently find themselves sipping a cup of joe alongside such coffee-craving celebs as Jake Gyllenhaal, Lindsay Lohan or Academy Award winner Adrien Brody.

Urth Caffe's familiar cup and saucer logo can be found in Santa Monica, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Fans not in Southern California can still drink espresso like one of La La Land's elite by ordering an Urth Caffe catalog.

In the following Hollywood TV clip, catch a glimpse of a scene that will appear on TV screens this fall:

51508: Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Travel Through Paris

Checking out the decidedly upper crust clothing at Lanvin, Dior and Chanel as well as the trendy togs sold at Starcow, newly engaged lovebirds Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz promise to be a well-dressed duo as they continue their excursion through Europe in order to promote the bride-to-be's current CD, "Bittersweet World."

The globetrotting twosome caused a photog frenzy in the French capital in early May 2008 as they browsed among the various boutiques in the rue Saint Honore, People magazine online reports. Frequently welcoming A-listers into its lobby, the Hotel Costes, which was a temporary home away from home for actor/singer Jared Leto in June 2007, also opened its doors for the pair during their stay.

The couple arrived in Paris after a short stop in Munich, Germany, where they were spotted at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. A venue befitting a pop princess, the hotel was built on command of King Ludwig I in 1841 for the pleasure of his guests.

51308: Celebrities Shine at Super Hero Soiree

Superstars of both the silver and small screens gathered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5, 2008 for a soiree saluting the stylish silhouette of super heroes. Co-chaired by George Clooney, who once donned Batman's brooding black mantle, and Julia Roberts, the Met rolled out the red carpet for a phalanx of fashion-savvy stars, including newlywed Beyonce, who looked the part of a blushing bride in a pale pink Armani Prive gown, while the tulle skirt of newly engaged Scarlett Johansson's Dolce & Gabbana design was reminiscent of a bridal veil.

A bevy of Hollywood beauties in black brought drama to the red carpet, including Gossip Girl's Blake Lively, who looked glamorous in a Ralph Lauren garment; Claire Danes, who had slipped into a Narciso Rodriguez design and Rachel Bilson, who opted for a Calvin Klein creation, People magazine online reported. Representing the opposite end of the color spectrum, Naomi Watts wowed the crowd in a white wardrobe choice by Thierry Mugler and Victoria Beckham was an alabaster vision in Armani, while Jennifer Connelly's black and white Balenciaga ensemble struck a harmonious balance between the two contrasting hues.

Before joining the flock of fashionistas getting a sneak peek at the clothing of costumed crime fighters, a number of notables posed for photographers in gowns which rivaled the saturated shades of comic book panels, including country crooner Taylor Swift, who glowed in a gold Badgley Mischka gown and Eva Longoria, who wore an aubergine Marchesa masterpiece to the opulent event.

Fans can follow in the steps of their favorite stars and visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy exhibition, which is on display on the first floor of the special exhibition galleries, from May 7 - September 1, 2008.

51108: Kylie Minogue Honored in Paris

The City of Lights was illuminated by both the flash of cameras and the beaming smile of Kylie Minogue as Australia's queen of the pop scene was presented with the Chevalier dans l'ordre des Arts et Lettres on May 5, 2008 in recognition of the singer's "contribution to the enrichment of French culture." The superstar had double the reason to rejoice, as her latest single, "In My Arms," was released the same day.

The chanteuse, who is set to shimmy on stage in a series of Jean Paul Gaultier creations when her KylieX2008 concert tour kicks off at the Bercy in Paris on May 6, 2008, proudly posed after the awards ceremony with her medal outside of the Hotel de Crillon, a 5-star sanctuary on the Place de la Concorde. Beloved by the British as well, Queen Elizabeth is scheduled to bestow the honor of an OBE to the singer in July of this year.

50908: Chelsy Davy Sees Prince Harry Receive Medal

Embraced by the royals, Chelsy Davy made her first official public appearance with her long-time love Prince Harry as the camouflage-wearing lieutenant joined 170 members of his regiment at Combermere Barracks in Windsor, England on May 5, 2008. Her face beaming with pride, the blonde beauty took her place in the front row by her beau's brother Prince William and his father Prince Charles and watched as Princess Anne pinned an Operational Service Medal on the third in line to the throne in recognition of the 10 weeks he served in Afghanistan. (The young prince's tour of duty, which was to last four months. was reluctantly cut short when the media divulged the news of his whereabouts.)

Following the ceremony, the regiment marched through the street to thunderous applause from on-lookers who lined the route to Holy Trinity Church, a 19th century Parish and Garrison house of worship deemed "the church on the roundabout" by Windsor residents. Once inside, the soldiers bowed their heads both in thanks for their safe return and in remembrance of the service men and women who have fallen in the line of duty.

Royal watchers may soon see Chelsy Davy at another royal occasion, as the Daily Mail reports that the Leeds University student has received an invitation to the wedding of Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips and his bride-to-be Autumn Kelly, which will take place at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 17, 2008.

50608: Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher Celebrate Premiere of "What Happens in Vegas"

As Cameron Diaz walked the red carpet outside of Mann's Village Theater in Westwood, California for the Hollywood premiere of What Happens in Vegas, no doubt the blonde beauty thought back to the day that she strolled down a white carpet aisle as she filmed an imaginary "I do" with co-star Ashton Kutcher. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the onscreen pair stepped in front of the camera for their Neon City nuptials on November 1, 2007 inside the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino's wedding chapel, which offers real life couples an option of six wedding packages, each one fittingly named after a romantic tale from the silver screen.

The Palms is another Vegas vision that will appear when the lights go down in theaters on May 9, 2008. Scenes were lensed amid the pulsating lights of Rain nightclub and at one of the hotel's poolside bungalows.

In the following Sipa Press clip, see some of the famous faces who flocked to the Hollywood premiere on May 2, 2008, including Eva Longoria, Vince Vaughn, Bai Ling and former Sister, Sister star Tamera Mowry:

50508: Johnny Depp Films at Historic Lodge

Like the echo of a memory that refuses to die, the staccato sounds of gun fire rang out once again at the Little Bohemia Lodge on April 23, 2008, 74 years to the day after the Wisconsin restaurant was ravaged by bullets during a shootout between the FBI and John Dillinger's band of thieves. On this day, however, it was not the notorious gangster who narrowly escaped the long arm of the law but the criminal's cinematic doppelganger, Johnny Depp, who is currently inhabiting the persona of the bank robber as filming continues on the upcoming drama, Public Enemies, the Wausau Daily Herald reported.

The Little Bohemia Lodge wears its battle scars with pride, and today patrons can not only mull over the menu, but also take a trip back in time as they gaze at the barrage of bullet holes that pock the walls and the Tommy gun, luggage, and other personal effects which have found a permanent home behind glass display cases at the lodge after being abandoned by the felons upon their flight to temporary freedom. The doors of the Manitowish Waters dining establishment are open to customers seven days a week.

50308: Bond Girl Gemma Arterton Films "Tess of the d'Urbervilles"

Actress Gemma Arterton may be a fresh face on the cinematic scene, but the British beauty who will go toe to toe with Daniel Craig's 007 in the upcoming Bond flick Quantum of Solace is currently stepping into the shoes of one of a timeless, tragic literary heroine as filming continues on a BBC version of Thomas Hardy's Tess of the d'Urbervilles. According to the Gazette Internet Edition, the director recently yelled "That's a wrap!" as scenes were completed at Owlpen Manor, a Tudor era treasure in Gloucestershire, England.

When television viewers tune in to watch the drama unfold, they just may spot a spirit hovering in the background. Legend states that four ghosts, including that of Queen Margaret of Anjou, roam the rooms of the 900-year-old edifice. Once a visitor to the regal retreat, Owlpen was the final venue to hear the carefree laughter of the queen, who would lose both her husband and son to the ravages of war only days after her departure, and many believe that her restless soul lingers on at the place of her last happy memories.

50208: Lindsay Lohan Dines at E. Baldi

Like the flicker of fireflies in the dark, the blinding lights of paparazzi flashbulbs momentarily illuminate the darkness outside of E. Baldi restaurant on any given evening. Drawn in by the tempting Tuscan-inspired dishes prepared by master chef Edoardo Baldi as well as the reputation of his father's Ristorante Giorgio Baldi, an elegant eatery in Santa Monica, a steady stream of celebrities routinely make reservations at the Beverly Hills dining establishment. In the past, such Hollywood royalty as Warren Beatty and Annette Bening have mulled over the menu at E. Baldi, and in late April 2008 Hollywood TV spotted Lindsay Lohan walking through the restaurant's door in order to enjoy a gastronomic journey to Italy.

Foodies wishing to sample E. Baldi's star-quality cuisine can add a touch of Tinseltown to their own home-cooked spaghetti or mozzarella with the help of the restaurant's own brand of sauces. Puttanesca, tomato and basil, mushroom, arrabbiata, pizzaiola and garden vegetables sauces are available by calling the number provided on the restaurant's official website.

44808: "Made of Honor" Filming Locations

Featuring a bouquet of beautiful cinematic scenery, Patrick Dempsey's latest feel good flick Made of Honor marries timeless romantic comedy situations with heartfelt emotions. Here are just a few of the UK locales movie buffs will see when the lights go down in theaters on May 2nd:

Filming Locations in Scotland

Clachaig Inn: This 300-year-old bed and breakfast was a silent spectator as cameras positioned just a few feet away captured the magic of Hagrid's hut for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on Glencoe's verdant landscape. In Made of Honor, however, it's the Highland hideaway's moment to shine, as the friendly facade of the 23-bedroom retreat is cast as the Scottish lodging locale for Michelle Monaghan's character, Hannah. The images of pick axes on the inn's welcoming sign attest to the fact that Glencoe is considered the home of Scottish Mountaineering, and climbers determined to scale the heights of the surrounding rocky terrain often stop by the B&B for a beverage at one of its three bars. Proudly serving real ale, Clachaig Inn has been deemed the "Best Pub in Scotland."

Dunvegan Castle: Having already appeared on the silver screen in the 1986 Christopher Lambert fantasy flick The Highlander, Scotland's oldest continuously inhabited castle is a star in its own right. However, it is the magic of faeries, and not the magic of Hollywood, that enchants the tourists who walk through this 13th century sanctuary on the Isle of Skye. Although its threadbare remains may not seem impressive at first glance, visitors who take the castle's 45-minute tour soon discover that the faded cloth housed within a glass showcase in Dunvegan's dining room is actually a faerie flag. Legend states that a faerie queen once bequeathed the banner to the castle's laird with instructions that members of her enchanted kingdom would come to his clan's aide if the flag was waved. Their summons would be granted only three times, and now the banner can only be used once more before the portal into the sprite's world is closed to the castle's keepers forever.

Watch this Moviefone trailer for Made of Honor then discover some of the English venues that star in the movie:

Filming Locations in England

Broughton Castle: According to IMDB, this 14th century English edifice also graces the screen by its presence in Made of Honor. Forever linked to movie history by the blood of its present proprietor, a cousin of the celebrated Fiennes siblings, actor Joseph Fiennes found himself walking in the footsteps of his forefathers as he portrayed the Bard in a dance sequence filmed inside the castle's Great Hall for the Academy Award-winning feature Shakespeare in Love. Utilized by a number of production companies over the years, Broughton's Oak Room has also echoed with the footfall of actress Helena Bonham-Carter as she inhabited the cinematic soul of the ill-fated queen for nine days, Lady Jane.

The Park Lane Hotel: Like a true star of the silver screen, this 1920's era architectural beauty knows how to play a challenging character. This 5-star, Sheraton-owned sanctuary in London's prized Piccadilly area, which became a cinema celebrity after appearing in The End of the Affair with Julianne Moore and Ralph Fiennes, portrays a New York City hotel in this romantic romp.

44708: Lindsay Lohan at Beverly Hills Salon

Polishing up her appearance for the LG Electronics Event in West Hollywood, Lindsay Lohan dropped in at Byron Williams in late April to have her digits decorated. Hollywood TV captured images of the box office beauty and her pal Samantha Ronson, who patiently waited inside the Beverly Hills salon on Civic Center Drive. Offering a wide range of services from makeup application to color highlights, a steady stream of celebrities, including Kirsten Dunst and Nicole Richie, have walked through the venue's yellow door.

The frequent flier friends have recently returned to the City of Angels from a sojourn which included a stop in Chi-town, where the Chicago Sun-Times reports that a trilby-wearing Ronson applied her turntable techniques at Crimson Lounge, its musical motif aptly located inside the Hotel Sax. The neon lights of Las Vegas loomed next on the horizon for the pair of paparazzi magnets, who checked in to the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino before Ronson brought the beats to the grand opening of Torrid nightclub, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

44608: Dita Von Teese's "Be Cointreauversial Show"

The neo-gothic glamour of The Angel Orensanz Foundation Center for the Arts in New York City provided a stylish setting recently for burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese, who was the toast of the town after her titillating tribute to the famed French liqueur, Cointreau. Over 500 famous faces, including Sex and the City hunk Jason Lewis, actress/designer Tara Subkoff and French-born fashionista Catherine Maladrino looked on as the stiletto-wearing star strolled on stage, every alabaster inch a vintage Vargas vision in a flurry of feathers and a 350,000 Swarovski crystal costume designed by bosom burlesque buddy, Catherine D'Lish.

As much a celebration of the feminine mystique as a naughty, nostalgic wink to the peep shows of the past, the "Be Cointreauversial Show" climaxed as Von Teese took a sip of the newly-christened Cointreau Teese cocktail, Cointreau's latest liqueur.

The following video clip from MediaSeed.tv offers a taste of Dita's daring martini glass bath:

Love is definitely in the air for British blue bloods this April, and Prince William took to the skies in celebration as Iona Douglas-Home, a friend from his days at university, said " I do" to her love, Thomas Hewitt. It was recently revealed that the second in line to the throne, who received Royal Air Force pilot's wings earlier in the month, flew a helicopter to get to the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Kelso on time for the 4:30 p.m. ceremony on April 5, 2008. According to The Southern Reporter, the young royal's brother Prince Harry was also among the 260 guests who witnessed the nuptials.

Following the exchange of vows, Prince Harry and Prince William, along with his lady love Kate Middleton, were among those to wish the newlyweds well during a reception held on the Home family estate, The Hirsel in Coldstream, Berwickshire Scotland.

On April 10, 2008 it was announced that Natalie Hicks-Lobbecke, Prince William's former girlfriend, is engaged to her Prince Charming, Edward Milbank, while days later Prince Charles and Princess Diana's two sons helped their cousin Peter Phillips, who will wed Autumn Kelly on May 17, 2008, say so long to the single life with a bachelor blowout weekend.

43708: David Tennant Celebrates Birthday in Wales

Although his Christmas pantomime performance prevented Torchwood star John Barrowman from enjoying slices of wedding cake after his December 2006 commitment ceremony to architect Scott Gill at St. David's Hotel and Spa, on April 19, 2008 Timelord David Tennant had plenty of time to nibble on his Tardis-inspired birthday cake at the same 5-star venue at Cardiff Bay, Wales. According to icWales, Russell T. Davies, the mastermind behind the sci-fi hit's return to television, and Tennant's new lady love Jennie Fava were among the 100 guests to sing a round of "Happy Birthday" to the Doctor Who star, who had turned 37 the day before.

After their party in the Roald Dahl conference suite Saturday night, it was business when the work week arrived, as David Tennant donned his now-familiar trench coat and stepped in front of the cameras as filming began on the Christmas 2008 episode of Doctor Who outside Gloucester Cathedral. A view familiar to Harry Potter fans, the house of worship was sprinkled with showbiz snow for the shoot, as extras in period clothing turned the scene into a Victorian vision.

43008: Carrie Underwood Films Music Video in Vegas

Not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, as lamented in the lyrics of Carrie Underwood's latest tune, "Last Name." Playing a prominent role in the upcoming single's storyline, it's only fitting that the Neon City will star alongside the season four American Idol winner in a video version of the song. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the 12.5 million lights on the Fremont Street Experience offered a dramatic backdrop for the singing sensation as she stepped in front of the camera on April 15, 2008, while the solitary, staring eye that adorns the tabletops at MGM Grand's Tabu Ultra Lounge provided a voyeuristic vision as filming continued, OK magazine online revealed.

Just seconds from the Strip, the multi- platinum-selling songstress was also seen at the Platinum Hotel and Spa on April 16, 2008. A 225-suite retreat, this Vegas venue-- the only non-gaming, non-smoking hotel in the area, offers guests an illuminating dining experience at its in-house restaurant Kilawat, and a rejuvenating regime at the WELL spa.

42208: Prince William and Prince Harry Attend Pre-Wedding Party

Proving that boys will be boys, even if the lads are from royal lineage, Prince William and Prince Harry were among the revellers who chugged back pints of brew during a bachelor bash weekend for their soon-to-wed cousin, Peter Phillips. According to the Isle of Wight County Press, the cozy, 16-room Rawlings Hotel was the group's home base during a three-day stay in the seaside town of Cowes.

Transforming from princes into court jesters, the second and third in line to the throne and their coterie of chums made the prospective groom carry a doll as they popped into several of the town's pubs, including the Painters Arms and the Anchor Pub inside The Anchor Inn, where real ale has flowed since the days of Queen Victoria.

Peter Phillips has one month to recover from his raucous weekend and scrub the black marker glasses and mustache drawn on his face by his partying friends. The son of Princess Anne will stand at the altar at Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel with bride Autumn Kelly on May 17, 2008.

41408: Hilary Duff at Corio

The charming cherubs that decorate the wallpaper inside New York City's Corio are silent witnesses each evening as patrons pile in for "This Is Burlesque," a titillating, tongue-in-cheek tribute to strip tease. According to the New York Daily News, on April 4, 2008 actress/singer Hilary Duff and a posse of pals were among the crowd who clapped for the provocative performance of Angie Pontini. Having strutted on stage for such A-listers as supermodel Adriana Lima and members of The Strokes, the burlesque beauty is a star in her own right, and a familiar face to TV viewers who tuned in to see her appearance on the CW hit Gossip Girl.

A mesmerizing mix of nostalgia and naughtiness, Corio restaurant and performance space serves up Mediterranean-style dishes along with flirtatious fan dances every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. By popular demand, a second 11 p.m. show has been added to the schedule each Friday night.

41308: Zach Braff Celebrates Birthday at STK

During her three-season stint as waitress Liz Parker on the former sci-fi series Roswell, actress Shiri Appleby served such fare as Alien Blasts and Galaxy Subs to Crashdown customers. On a recent epicurean adventure, however, it was the TV star's turn to mull over the menu as she celebrated the 33rd birthday of Scrubs star Zach Braff at the STK restaurant in West Hollywood. Although recent reports have stated that the couple had split, People magazine online revealed that the pair were a happy Tinseltown twosome as they sipped champagne along with fellow dining guests Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke.

Although seafood fare, including oysters on a half shell, big eye tuna and Maine lobster play a prominent role at STK, the glitterati group chose to dine on the restaurant's signature steaks. Billed as ".....not your Daddy's steakhouse," the West Hollywood eatery, located at 755 North La Cienega, is open seven days a week from 6 p.m. until 2 in the morning.

41208: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale Enjoy Family Trip to La Brea Tar Pits

Chart-topping twosome Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, who will celebrate six years of wedded bliss in September 2008, took a trip back in time with their toddler during an springtime sojourn to the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles. Home to the fossilized skeletons of saber-toothed cats, mastodons and mammoths, the Ice Age adventure is every little boy's dream day out with his parents, and it was evident to all that Kingston enjoyed the archaeological landmark as he checked out the forms of giant sloths and bounced to the beat of a tune performed by a guitarist outside of the George C. Page Museum in Hancock Park.

The Rancho La Brea Tar Pits, located at 5801 Wilshire Boulevard, is open to the public seven days a week.

40508: Jennifer Garner, Matthew McConaughey Filming in Massachusetts

Each year, approximately 450 brides walk down the aisle of the Martha-Mary Chapel in the town of Sudbury, Massachusetts. In early April 2008, wedding bells of the cinematic variety chimed at the colonial style house of worship for actress Jennifer Garner as she clutched a bouquet and walked inside the pine-constructed building while cameras rolled on the upcoming romantic comedy The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Dressed in a strapless creation enhanced with lace, the former Alias star surely reminisced about her own 2005 seaside ceremony with husband Ben Affleck at the Parrot Cay resort while her co-star, Hollywood hunk Matthew McConaughey, filmed a scene for the flick amid the trees that frame the beauty of the pristine white church, the Metrowest Daily News revealed.

According to The Boston Globe, The Crane Estate in Ipswich will also share screen time with top Tinseltown talent Garner, McConaughey, Breckin Meyer and Lacey Chabert when Ghosts of Girlfriends Past hits theaters in February 2009. The 2,100-acre grounds is home to The Inn at Castle Hill, a National Historical Landmark retreat which is often the site of well to-do I do's.

40208: Paul McCartney Enjoys Caribbean Getaway

Proving that "All You Need Is Love" to put a smile back on your face, happy hit maker Paul McCartney was recently spotted ambling along the white sands of one of Antigua's beaches during a springtime sojourn with lady friend Nancy Shevell. According to Hello magazine online, the music icon and the American socialite, who helped to buoy the former Beatle's spirits as his legal battle with ex-wife Heather Mills raged on, checked into one of 11 villas at Jumby Bay, a Rosewood resort.

A Caribbean nirvana situated on a 300-acre stretch of the island, the lapping water that rushed on to the resort's shore beckoned to the animal rights activist, who may have been lucky enough to glimpse one of the eagle rays or nurse sharks that call the ocean home as he and his new girlfirend cruised along on a sunfish sailboat. In the evenings, the flap of a blue pelican's wings flying overhead and the rustle of palm fronds in the breeze seemed to wave goodnight to the couple as they returned to their romantic retreat.

34408: Kristen Bell Tours Universal Studios Hollywood

Sightseers hoping to spot a star during their trip to Universal Studios Hollywood were in for a treat when actress Kristen Bell and pals hopped aboard a tram for a tour of the studio's back lot, People magazine online revealed. Like any typical Tinseltown tourist, the Heroes cast member enjoyed a drive by the sets of Desperate Housewives and CSI as well as the facades of such silver screen classics as Hitchcock's Psycho house and Back to the Future's clock tower -- all part of the 45-minute foray into Universal Studio's universe.

Soon appearing on the silver screen in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the former Veronica Mars star will soon pack her bags for the eternal city, where the Trevi fountain will share scenes with the actress as filming gets underway on the upcoming romantic comedy When In Rome.

34308: Samuel L. Jackson at The National Civil Rights Museum

Throughout his cinematic career, Samuel L. Jackson has stirred the souls of movie audiences with his performances. It was his real life role as an usher at the funeral of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., however, that made a profound impact on the spirit of the Academy Award-nominated actor, and as the nation reflects on the 40th anniversary of the civil rights leader's passing the star joined an ensemble cast of 100 volunteers as they prepared The National Civil Rights Museum for those who will gather to remember the fateful date.

Capturing a moment of the over 1,000 man hours put in by the crew, photographers snapped images of the screen icon as he applied a fresh coat of paint to the railings outside of room 306 at The Lorraine Motel, the site of the activist's final moments.

The Memphis museum, which chronicles both the struggle and the strides made in the civil rights movement, is open to the public every day except Tuesday. A number of special events are scheduled for the days surrounding the solemn occasion, including a candle light vigil on April 4, 2008, in which the flames inside 40 lanterns, one for each year of Dr. King's life, will burn for 40 days.
