Honeymoon
Suite Named for Ryan and Trista
Remember the "Trista
and Ryan" phenomenon? The $4 million-plus wedding that was
seen by 17 million television viewers has spawned a honeymoon
suite at the same location where they said their vows.
The
Hotel
The Lodge at Rancho
Mirage, which was shut down for four days to accommodate over
500 crew members and 300 guests for the plush wedding, has announced
that the coveted, luxury-wedding suite, that the couple occupied,
will now be available to the public.
The 240-room hotel
is surrounded by mountains and some 500 endangered, bighorn
sheep, indigenous to the area.
The
Suite
"The suite
is beautifully decorated and ever since the wedding, we've been
overwhelmed with requests to book the suites," says Herbert
Spiegel, managing director of the hotel-resort and a
vice-president of parent company, RockResorts.
The suite includes
a sunken Jacuzzi and a grand piano along with a separate bedroom
suite and living room. Its occupants also have access to a luxury
spa, commemorative "Trista & Ryan" champagne flutes
and the use of a Jaguar.
