In
the land where more Rolls Royces are sold than any place on earth,
youd expect some luxurious surprises.
Well,
The Lodge at Rancho Mirage, recently voted by the Zagat Survey
as the number one resort in the Palm Springs area, has come up
with a whopper!Its a three-day, $7,000 package, fit for
royalty. Starting with the unlimited use of the latest Ferrari
F360 Modena, from the Luxury Rent A Car fleet, the package includes
a steady flow of champagne, wine and caviar.
For a mere $4,500, clients have the option of driving a Porsche
911 Carrera Convertible, instead of the Ferrari. It even includes
a couples massage at the world-class Avanyu Spa.
Of course, no royal rest over would be complete without a stylish
suite. At The Lodge at Rancho Mirage, the so-called Millionaire
Fantasy Package includes three nights in a posh, club level
suite, with private key access and replete with a personal concierge
plus four food and beverage presentations a day.
Also
in the offing, a complimentary breakfast in bed every morning
and abundant snacks, cocktails, hors doeuvres and cordials.
Its as if you were residing in your very own millionaires
mansion, since the suite overlooks the resorts luxuriant,
croquet lawn that boasts a birds eye view of the entire
Coachella Valley from one of its highest plateaus.
Along with the suite, other unforgettable amenities, such as a
royal, rose petal bath, lush, fresh floral arrangements and VIP
parking, are included.
The hotel-resort, which is fast becoming a favorite among international
travelers, will also pick up guests anywhere in southern California,
when they book this unique three-night package.
For every evening spent at The Lodge at Rancho Mirage, the
millionaire package guest will also be treated to such luxuries
as Dom Perignon champagne and caviar cake, aged port wines from
the resorts prized cellar, exquisite imported chocolates
and a catered, candlelight dinner in the resorts secluded
gazebo, that overlooks the entire, starlit desert, accompanied
by generous servings of Christal champagne and long stem, chocolate
tuxedo strawberries for dessert.
By far, this is the most ambitious package weve ever
conceived for the resort, says Herbert Spiegel, managing
director of The Lodge at Rancho Mirage and a vice-president of
its parent company, RockResorts (www.rockresorts.com). The 240-room
resort-hotel is located in one of the Coachella Valleys
premier locations, sitting atop a 650-foot bluff overlooking the
entire desert.
Among its unique offerings is a spectacular pool club, a spectacular
cliffside locale, and nearby mountain ranges that are home to
the free-roaming and rare, peninsula bighorn sheep, the hotels
mascot.
