Rodney Atkins, Rose Falcon Marry on Captiva Island

Currently on the road with The Most Hits For the Money Tour, country crooners Rodney Atkins and Rose Falcon are now traveling down the road of life together as husband and wife.

On November 10, 2013 the happy couple, who had become betrothed in June 2013, said “I do” in a ceremony held on the beach on Captiva Island in Florida. Looking to his past as he stepped into the future with his bride, the groom chose Charles Hutchins, the founder of Holston United Methodist Home for Children– where Atkins had spent his infancy before being adopted– to officiate the wedding.

Making the start of their marriage a family affair, the “Watching You” singer’s son Elijah acted as best man, and the lovebirds included a tribute to the 51-year marriage of the groom’s parents by presenting Margaret Atkins with a ring crowned by a three-carat aquamarine– Rodney Atkins’ birthstone.

Adding personal touches to their special day, the bride made wedding programs out of CD cases and crafted handmade bracelets for each female guests. Men in attendance received a custom hat which matched a baseball cap worn by the groom.
