On December 15, 2013 reality TV romantic Michaele Salahi from the Real Housewives of D.C. and her rock guitarist groom Neal Schon will say “I do” at a San Francisco landmark, and fans are cordially invited to witness the start of the couple’s ‘journey’ through life together as the pair share their special day on Pay-Per-View.
A San Franciscan since his childhood days, the founding member of Journey and his bride-to-be will be the first couple to be pronounced husband and wife at the historic Palace of Fine Arts. Speaking about the upcoming ceremony, Schon stated: “We searched the world for the perfect location, and finally I said to Michaele, ‘San Francisco is my home. Now it is our home. I want to be married there, in the most beautiful city in the world, to the woman of my dreams.'”
Philanthropic fiancees who became betrothed on October 14, 2012 on stage at the JOURNEY OF HOPE fundraiser for John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, Schon and Salahi’s wedding will help efforts to mend the lives of those affected by the recent typhoon.
Michaele states: “Neal and I are always looking to do all that we can to make a difference in the world, and believe it or not, our wedding event has given us a perfect opportunity to do just that. A portion of the proceeds from Pay-Per-View will go directly toward typhoon relief, where the money is needed most.”
Organized by celebrity wedding planner Sharon Sacks, the nuptials– which will include a performance by Journey– will be broadcast live during the three-hour special “Neal & Michaele: The Winter Wonderland Wedding and Music Event.” Hosted by Emmy Award nominees Debbie Matenopoulos and Cameron Mathison, along with veteran music, entertainment and sporting event host Karyn Bryant, the event will be broadcast live in HD on Pay-Per-View Sunday, December 15 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT.
