Eleven months after Prince Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg pledged his devotion to Countess Stephanie de Lannoy, Prince Félix of Luxembourg followed in his brother’s footsteps by walking down the aisle with the woman he loves in a fairytale ceremony.
On September 21, 2013 the second in line of succession to Luxembourg’s throne took the title of husband to Claire Lademacher during a religious ceremony at the Basilique Sainte Marie-Madeleine in Saint-Maximin-La-Sainte-Baume in France, Hello magazine reports.
Light danced joyfully on the facets of the diamonds in the bride’s tiara from the Grand Ducal Collection as she made her grand entrance in a silk Elie Saab gown embellished with Chantilly lace and silver thread, its beauty enhanced by the ivory silk tulle veil which trailed behind her as she walked to the altar to receive a band of fair-trade gold from her groom.
The happy couple, who announced on December 13, 2012 their intent to say “I do,” first exchanged vows in a September 17th civil ceremony held in Königstein, Germany.
