Wearing wedding bands inspired by the past, actress Kate Bosworth is looking forward to the future with her real life leading man, director Michael Polish.
The custom made platinum presentations, which took a total of 36 hours to complete, were designed in a collaboration between the bride, groom and fine jeweler Ocappi. “We are amazed at the level of execution of a design this unique. Because this is a ring worn every day, it was essential that it reflects our personal aesthetic,” says Bosworth.
Perfectly wed to the newly dubbed Mrs.’s 1920 Art Deco engagement ring, the first band features 18 brilliant baguette diamonds nestled horizontally in a platinum band. “We both appreciate a classic, clean design in all aspects of our lives. This ring is a perfect representation of our aesthetic,” the notable newlywed stated.
The high-profile pair also opted for a second vintage-style vision to embody their vows– a platinum band crowned by 12 horizonally-set diamond baguettes, with each jewel typifying a month of the year.
“We were so delighted with how they both turned out and how beautiful they looked on Kate’s hand, that it only made sense for her wedding band to be a double band,” says Ocappi President Isaac Gurary.
