As an anchor on MSNBC Thomas Roberts is accustomed to reporting the day’s top stories, but on September 29th the journalist made headlines as he said “I do” to his long-time love, Patrick Abner.
A couple since 2000, the pair– who became betrothed one day after the legalization of same-sax marriages in the state of New York– pledged their love at Gansevoort Park Hotel in the presence of family and friends, including reality personality/former Dancing with the Stars competitor Carson Kressley, daytime talk show host Nate Berkus, Good Morning America‘s Sam Champion, fellow MSNBC colleagues Tamron Hall and Chris Jansing, and singer Chely Wright, TV Newser reports.
Taking to Twitter to share the happy news, the newly-pronounced husband Tweeted a photo of the ceremony.
