Royal wedding bells rang out on October 20th for the heir apparent to the crown of Luxembourg and the newly-dubbed Princess who holds the title of the queen of his heart.
A red runner blazed a path for Belgian Countess Stephanie de Lannoy as she began her walk inside the Cathedral of Our Lady of Luxembourg to say “I do” to her fiance since April 26, 2012– Prince Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
The bride made her grand entrance in a lace-embellish Elie Saab gown, it’s beauty enhanced by a 13-foot train and silk tulle veil which trailed behind her as she made her way to the altar to pledge her devotion during a ceremony conducted in French, English and Luxembourgish.
In true fairy tale fashion, royals from surrounding countries gathered to wish the couple well, including Prince Edward of Britain and Sophie, the Duchess of Wessex; Princess Caroline of Monaco and Crown Prince Felipe of Spain and Princess Letizia, Britain’s Daily Mail reports.
One day prior to the religious blessing of their love, the bride donned a classic Chanel look for a civil ceremony conducted in the Town Hall:
