Scottish singing sensation Emeli Sandé, who rose to the top of the UK charts with her single “Heaven” was in seventh heaven on the evening of September 15th as she said “I do” to the man who puts a song in her heart, Adam Gouraguine.
An item for the past seven year, a January 2012 engagement announcement led to a secret ceremony in the groom’s home country of Montenegro, the Scottish Daily Record.
While the songwriter, who penned tunes for the likes of Leona Lewis and Susan Boyle before venturing out with her debut album Our Version of Events, has yet to unveil her version of her wedding day, she did reveal on Montenegrin TV that she intends to take her husband’s last name, and days after the I do’s she Tweeted to fans: “The greatest promise I’ve ever made To the greatest friends I’ve ever known. Thank you for all your messages. x”
