Actress Drew Barrymore, who has starred in such romantic comedies as 50 First Dates, Never Been Kissed and The Wedding Singer, stepped into the real life role of a bride on June 2, 2012 as she said “I do” to her love, Will Kopelman.
As home is where the heart is, the happy couple– who had celebrated their upcoming union on June 1st with a rehearsal repast at San Ysidro Ranch (the landmark Montecito, California retreat which has been the ceremony spot for an array of stars ranging from classic movie couple Sir Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh to reality personality Katherine Kallinis from the TLC series DC Cupcakes)– welcomed friends and family members to their Montecito residence to witness their wedding. According to People.com, Reese Witherspoon, Jimmy Fallon, Busy Philipps and Cameron Diaz were among the guests to get a glimpse of the star’s Chanel gown as a rabbi pronounced the couple husband and wife.
The wedding was the happily ever after to a love story which began in February 2011 and had led to a betrothal– complete with a 4-carat, radiant-cut diamond engagement ring from Graff– during a Christmas 2011 destination vacation to Sun Valley, Idaho.
