Tony Romo may not have a Super Bowl ring, but as of May 28, 2011 the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys does possess a wedding ring.
Presented on December 16, 2010, an eight-carat yellow diamond engagement ring which held the promise of both a beautiful birthday memory and a betrothal for Candice Crawford led to a walk down the aisle for the NFL star and his soul mate at Arlington Hall, located within Lee Park in Dallas, Texas. According to People magazine, approximately 600 guests gathered for the ceremony, including the bride’s brother, Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, and gridiron greats Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, Miles Austin and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
After celebrating the couple’s newlywed status at a reception created by Todd Fiscus Designs, family and friends received gift bags brimming with items that will serve as happy reminders of the romantic day, including Moet champagne, a Mix of the Month CD from DJ Lucy Wrubell, Kiehl’s beauty and body products, a Neiman Marcus gift card and tasty treats from Great One Cookies, Dude Sweet Chocolates and Killer Pecans from Bandera Foods.
Although her Badgley Mischka-wearing bridesmaids attempted to conceal Candice Crawford’s “I do” dress from reporters, cameras caught a glimpse of the gown in the following clip from Dallas/Fort Worth station KDFW:
