Michael Vartan, who currently stars as Dr. Tom Wakefield in the TNT drama Hawthorne, wrote a prescription for his own happiness when he penned the vows which he spoke on the day he said “I do” to his love since 2009, Lauren Skaar.
The star of the big screen romantic comedy Never Been Kissed kissed his bride on April 2, 2011 as the pair were pronounced husband and as they stood in gazebo on the grounds of The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California.
According to People magazine, 150 family members and friends (including Michael Vartan‘s former Alias co-star Victor Garber, who stepped into the role of groomsman) looked on as the bride made her grand entrance in a Vera Wang creation which had been altered for her walk to the altar into a strapless silhouette that sported a sweetheart neckline, People magazine reported.
Swarovski crystals, nestled among a sprinkling of mother-of-pearl on the bride’s Oscar de la Renta belt, twinkled in the evening light as she made her way toward her intended, who had donned a Giorgio Armani tuxedo for the ceremony, which had been planned with an “evening spring” theme.
The wedding was the fruition of a love story which began with a first meeting at a Whole Foods market in Los Angeles and had led to a betrothal in March 2010.
