Actress Angélica Vale, who gained fame as La Fea mas Bella (The Prettiest Ugly Girl) was a beautiful bride on February 19, 2011– the day she said I do to her love, Otto Padrón.
Already pronounced husband and wife in a civil ceremony days before in Miami, the happy couple received a blessing of their marriage in Mexico City at the Colegio de las Vizcaínas. While only 80 friends and family members had been invited to the Miami ceremony (which had included mariachis and a romantic repast from Romeos restaurant), 800 guests gathered to watch the bride walk down the aisle in a David Salomón design at the start of a religious service which included personalized vows and the lighting of a unity candle.
Following the nuptials, the newlyweds were serenaded by the pop group Camila, who performed their hit “Todo Cambió” for the couple during an evening reception in which famous friends, including Chantal and Jacqueline Andere, William Levy, Charityn Goyco and Jaime Camil dined on cream of poblano soup and slices of a three-tier wedding cake.
Guests celebrated the soul mates’ new life together as Mr. and Mrs. until 5 a.m. The newlyweds have now embarked on a honeymoon in Miami, LaNacion reports.
Although the words spoken in the following Univision video may be foreign to some, the happiness of the bride as she shares moments of her special day with TV viewers transcends any language barrier:
