Reality personality Cynthia Bailey enjoyed her dream “I do” with restaurateur Peter Thomas on July 24, 2010, and on the season finale of The Real Housewives of Atlanta fans became virtual witnesses to the couple’s vows.
Neither a case of cold feet nor behind the scenes Momma drama could dampen the joy of the Bravo TV bride’s special day as the ceremony commenced at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta, Georgia.
Sharing the moment with her daughter, 11-year-old Noelle walked down the aisle as a flower girl before the bride made her grand entrance in a Rubin Singer design that was platinum perfection.
Beneath the bones of a dinosaur which roamed the earth eons ago, the pair pledged their eternal love in a refined ceremony which omitted the exchange of rings. Following the nuptials, family and friends (including Bailey’s TV co-stars NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak and Sheree Whitfield) joined the newlyweds for a reception where wine, champagne and rum punch flowed as the happy couple savored their first hours together as husband and wife.
