Robbie Williams Marries

Pop star Robbie Williams celebrated a “Love Supreme” on August 7, 2010 as he exchanged vows with his soul mate who has been by his side since 2006, Ayda Field.

Although initial reports indicated that the couple would wed on California’s Catalina Island, when the time arrived for the singing sensation to declare to the presiding officiant that “She’s The One,” the pair decided that there was no place like home to begin their new life together as husband and wife.

According to The Sun, the bride stepped out on to the sun dappled backyard of the couple’s Beverly Hills estate at 5 p.m. in a traditional white wedding dress which featured a pick-up skirt. Walking beneath the shelter of a white tent erected on grounds that were graced with £20,000 worth of botanical beauty, including white roses and orchids and a floral display which spelled out the word “love,” Field pledged her devotion during a 30-minute ceremony to Williams– who had proposed publicly during a late 2009 radio interview– in the presence of 75 friends and family members who had been staying at the Sunset Marquee Hotel before gathering to witness the happy event.

According to reports, the newlyweds have plans to enjoy a two-week honeymoon in Mexico.

British singer Robbie Williams takes the long awaited plunge and marries his girlfriend of four years Ayda Field at his Beverly Hills, CA home on August 7, 2010 in front of a small audience of friends and family members including Williams father Pete Conway and mother Janet Williams. While the couple took great lengths to keep the ceremony quiet including offering a decoy location and blocking off the outdoor ceremony under a tent, a tender first married moment was captured after the ceremony as bride and groom relaxed in their sun room overlooking the reception.
