NBA Star Paul Pierce’s Wedding

Boston Celtic teammates Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen were among the guests who witnessed the wedding of two soul mates on July 17, 2010 as NBA star Paul Pierce pledged his love to Julie Landrum.

According to People magazine, 80 friends and family members watched as the happy couple’s young daughter Prianna sprinkled petals along a path which lead to a gazebo where the groom stood, looking dapper in a black and white tuxedo from Eléyee. Guests then rose from their seats on the grounds of The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, California in honor of the bride as she made her grand entrance in a mermaid-style masterpiece by designer Ines Di Santo.

Following the nuptials, the newlyweds took their first steps as husband and wife on a carpet of fragrant flowers, their steps leading them to an indoor reception where the bride and groom swayed to the sounds of R. Kelly’s “You Made Me Love You.”
