Football Star Colt McCoy Marries

He’ll soon walk out on the football field with a new set of teammates, but on July 17, 2010 former University of Texas longhorn quarterback/Cleveland Browns rookie Colt McCoy walked down the aisle with his soul mate, Rachel Glandorf.

According to the Austin American Statesman, 550 guests– including the state’s Governor Rick Perry and sorts legend Roger Staubach– rose from their seats at Westover Hills Church of Christ as the bride walked down the aisle toward the groom, who presented her with a wedding band to accompany the engagement ring which she has sported on her left hand since a January 2010 proposal at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas.

Following the nuptials, the newlyweds celebrated their new Mr. and Mrs. titles at the TDS Exotic Game Ranch, where family and friends were entertained with the country crooning of the groom’s best man Jordan Shipley, who– along with singer Aaron Watson– belted out an original composition which has since become a viral video, “When I Grow Up, I Wanna Be Just Like Colt McCoy.”
