David Walliams and Lara Stone’s Wedding

He may be known as a caustic comedian, but Little Britain star David Walliams took the tradition of tying the knot seriously on May 16, 2010 as he said “I do” to model Lara Stone.

Held in a white rose-filled ballroom at London’s Claridges Hotel, prospective groom Russell Brand was among a gathering of glitterati which included Natalie Imbruglia, Denise Van Outen and co-best man Matt Lucas, all of whom stood in honor of the bride as she walked down the aisle in a buff-hued Ricardo Tisci of Givenchy wedding dress, its gold brocade embellishments and lace-edged train which trailed gracefully behind the Dutch model providing an added dash of romance to bridal attire valued at £30,000, the Daily Mail reports.

After the 30-minute ceremony, in which the bride received a wedding band to accompany her £100,000 Tiffany engagement ring, the newlyweds celebrated their first hours as husband and wife with celebrity wellwishers Elton John, Geri Halliwell, Stephen Fry and Noel Gallagher at Shoreditch House.
