Not only is Lorena Ochoa ranked the number one female golfer in the world, the sports star also holds the number one spot in the heart of the man who became her husband on December 4, 2009– Andrés Conesa.
Two days shy of the one year anniversary of their betrothal at the Cathedral del Mar in Barcelona, the LPGA champion clutched a bouquet of yellow and purple blossoms as she walked down the aisle at the start of a civil ceremony held at the University Club of Guadalajara.
According to Hola! Mexico, the bride began married life in a custom creation by Manuel Mota of Pronovias, its beauty enhanced by the addition of diamond drop earrings which held special meaning to the bride, as they were a birthday gift from her groom. Conesa, who had met his future wife for the first time at a golf tournament in Los Cabos in 2007, choose the classic look of a wool and cashmere gray Tom Ford suit for the happy occasion.
