As Take That fans await the November 30th release of the group’s live CD The Greatest Day, on November 8, 2009 band member Mark Owen experienced a day which lived up to the album’s title as he said “I do” to the mother of his two children, Emma Ferguson.
As though symbolizing a fresh start, two bridesmaids in white dresses designed with handkerchief hemlines walked down the aisle of Cawdor Parish Church before the bride– who has been engaged to the singer since 2006– made her grand entrance inside the house of worship. Clutching a bouquet of white blossoms, the bride’s lace-edged veil draped down the back of her white wedding dress as she made her way to the altar where the groom– who had donned an aubergine-hued, velvet coat and top hat for the occasion– waited to make her his wife.
Following the nuptials, Hello Magazine reports that 50 family members and friends– including the groom’s band mates Gary Barlow, Jason Orange and Howard Donald– wished the newlyweds happiness during a reception held at Cawdor Castle in the Scottish highlands.
