Sometimes it can be difficult to express emotion in 140 characters or less, but when breaking the happy news of her nuptials to her fans Alyssa Milano’s Tweet said it all: “Happiest. Day. Of. My. Life.”
On August 15, 2009 a gathering of guests– including actor Bradley Cooper– converged on the New Jersey estate belonging to the groom’s family to witness the bride, dressed in a Vera Wang creation, follow a fragrant path of cream-hued rose petals which led her to her love, agent David Bugliari. Clutching a bouquet composed of lily of the valley, the stirring sounds of John Lennon’s “Imagine” escorted the former Charmed star to a wrought iron gazebo adorned with roses, calla lilies and willow, for the start of the ceremony, People magazine reports.
Following the exchange of vows, the newlyweds joined family and friends beneath a tent erected on the site for a reception transformed into a pastoral paradise by event coordinator Colin Cowie, whose use of bales of hay and rattan furniture created an ambiance of rustic romance.
