As a star of the silver screen, Jason Schwartzman has traveled to Jodhpur, India for his appearance in The Darjeeling Limited and has stepped in front of the camera as King Louis XVI at the Palace of Versailles in Marie Antoinette, a movie directed by his cousin, Sofia Coppola. However, when taking on the role of a lifetime– that of husband to the woman he loves– the actor felt that there was no place like home.
Keeping news of the ceremony a cherished secret for more than one month, People magazine reports that Schwartzman (who is the son of actress Talia Shire) said “I do” to Brady Cunningham on July 11, 2009 at their shared residence in the San Fernando Valley.
The nuptials were the culmination of a three-year romance which had led to an engagement earlier in 2009.
