Although still more than one year away, no doubt bride-to-be Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden dreamed of her own June 19, 2010 “I do” with fiance Daniel Westling as the monarch in the making celebrated the union of Count Bjoern Bernadotte of Wisborg and Sandra Angerer on May 7, 2009.
Having already made their marriage official in a civil ceremony on April 25th, the happy newlyweds received a religious blessing of their love inside a castle church on the Mainau, Germany estate owned by the groom’s family, Hello! magazine reports.
As family and friends looked on, tiny attendants– their heads wreathed in flowers– walked down the aisle in angelic blush and white- colored frocks before the bride made her grand entrance in a romantic Regency era-inspired creation, its beauty enhanced by a bouquet of pink-tinged roses.
Following their exchange of vows, the Count and Countess– whose June 2008 engagement had been preceded by a five-year courtship– danced the night away at a ball held in their honor.
