On November 29, 2008, however, the TV journalist became the news as she said “I do” to her love of the past eight years, Mario Andres Moreno in a ceremony held at the Paradisus Palma Real hotel in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Univision.com reported.
As the beams of the late afternoon sun illuminated their path, cherubic flower girls dressed in white sprinkled a carpet of fragrant white flower petals for the bride to follow as she made her way over a bridge which marked her transition from life as a single woman to that of wife to the man she loves. Her father there to guide her, the bride smiled as she walked past the many guests who had gathered in the hotel’s garden for the happy occasion, including several members of her Univision family, such as Maria Elena Salinas, Lourdes Stephen and Tony Dandrades.
Standing in a gazebo with her groom, who had donned a white suit created by Alex Ladino, the folds on the skirt of the bride’s Angel Sanchez wedding dress seemed to dance with her diaphanous veil in the breeze, mirroring the joy in the bride’s heart as the couple pledged their devotion to each other.
Following the exchange of vows, the newlyweds joined their family and friends for a feast featuring both Latin and American dishes before sampling slices of a four-tier cake concocted by Cakes by EDDA, which provided a sweet start to the couple’s new life together.
