In the 2007 self-help book Your Girlfriends Only Know So Much: A Brother’s Take on Dating and Mating for Sistas, comedian Finesse Mitchell offers ladies insight into gauging a guy’s true intentions. On the book’s opening page, the former Saturday Night Live star dedicated his tome to the woman who taught him about true love– Jessica Santos, who pledged her devotion to the funnyman in a ceremony held in Atlanta, Georgia on September 13, 2008.
Ten bridesmaids dressed in stylish black silhouettes each cradled a single white calla lily in their arms as they strolled past the assembled guests before the bride made her grand entrance. Clutching a bouquet of red roses, the scalloped hem of the bride’s strapless white gown gently brushed the aisle as she made her way toward her groom, who had donned a classic black tuxedo from Douglas Wayne for the occasion, Essence magazine online reported.
During the ceremony, no doubt happy memories of their own May 2005 wedding came to the minds of actors Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker– two of the 230 witnesses on hand to watch the couple seal their three-year love story with a wedding band.
