72908: Fox News Correspondent Molly Henneberg’s Wedding

As a Fox News correspondent, Molly Henneberg has been a witness to some of the nation’s landmark events, so on July 12, 2008 no site could have served as a more fitting wedding venue for the television journalist and Chris Nagle, her fiance since March 2008, than The Falls Church in her home town of Falls Church, Virginia.

Its doors open to the faithful since 1769, the brick building has a long and illustrious history, having acted as a recruiting station for the Fairfax militia as America fought for its freedom in the Revolutionary War, and serving as a hospital during the Civil War. As a lay reader, the voice of Francis Scott Key once filled the house of worship, but on this day inside The Falls Church its interior rang out with two voices saying “I do.”

Fox News favorites Janice Dean, (who reported on the happy news in her blog), chief White House correspondent Bret Baier, Supreme Court reporter Shannon Bream and more were among those who wished the newlyweds well at the reception where the groom, dressed in his Marine Captain’s uniform, and his bride, who has donned a classic lace-embellished gown accented with beading, used the groom’s sword to cut into a four-tier wedding cake.
