61508: Prince Karl Emich zu Leiningen’s Wedding

Stretching out over the cobblestone streets of Pappenheim, Germany, a green aisle runner paved a path for Princess Isabell von und zu Egloffstein and her father on June 7, 2008 as they made their way from to the Klosterkirche, where Prince Karl Emich zu Leiningen waited at the altar. Many of the well-wishers who had gathered outside of city hall in Amorbach, Bavaria on September 8, 2007 as the couple were officially pronounced husband and wife in a civil ceremony once again lined the street to catch a glimpse of the bride as she strolled past in her refined white wedding dress, two young attendants trailing behind as they held her chapel-length veil aloft.

Among the many royal guests inside the church, Hereditary Prince Carl-Ferdinand and Hereditary Princess Elna-Margret zu Bentheim and Steinfurt surely thought back to their own wedding day in 2007 as they watched the bride and groom, seated in front of the altar, once again pledge their devotion to one another.
