Katharine McPhee may have only garnered the runner-up position during American Idol‘s fifth season, but she has long held the number one spot in the heart of the man in her “Love Story,” and on February 2, 2008 the singing sensation said “I do” to actor/producer Nick Cokas at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church, People magazine online reports. Rumer Willis, the bride’s co-star in the upcoming comedy I Know What Boys Like, fellow AI contestants Kellie Pickler and Mandisa and 300 friends and family members watched as bridesmaids in pink gowns walked down the 106-ft.-long aisle ahead of the chanteuse, who made her grand entrance in an ivory-hued creation by Manuel Mota. A profusion of pastel and white roses, along with cherry blossoms and hydrangeas, perfumed the air during the 45-minute ceremony, US magazine online reports, and as the couple exchanged vows, the diamonds on the bride’s Neil Lane earrings sparkled in the light of wrought-iron chandeliers that dangled overhead as the groom, who wore an Armani tuxedo for the occasion, slipped a wedding band on his love’s finger to accompany her diamond and platinum engagement ring.
