A love that blossomed in 2001 in front of television viewers who tuned in each week to “Gran Hermano,” the Argentinian version of “Big Brother,” has led to an exchange of vows for reality stars Ximena Capristo and Gustavo Conti. The couple, who were united in matrimony during a civil ceremony held on November 15, 2007, pledged their devotion to each other again two days later during a religious blessing of their love at Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Buenos Aires. According to the online magazine Caras, 230 guests, who had received wedding invitations created by Karin Design, looked on as the bride, whose image currently graces the cover of Playboy in Argentina, began her walk down the aisle in a body-conscious creation by Imperio Indígena, designed out of silk muslin and satin with French lace accents. A pair of Ricky Sarkany shoes carried her to the altar, where the groom waited in a dove grey suit by designer Daniel Casalnuovo.
Following the nuptials, the newly dubbed Mrs. Conti discarded one of her white opera gloves to show her Testorelli wedding band to reporters as the couple made their way to Palacio Leloir, where they cut slices of a six-tier wedding cake. The newlyweds are making plans for a March 2008 honeymoon jaunt to Jamaica.
