0100407: Singer David Civera’s Wedding in Spain

In 2001, singer David Civera climbed to the top of the charts in Spain with his breakout single, “Dile que la quiero” (“Tell Her That I Love Her”). On September 29, 2007 the pop star had the opportunity to tell Ana Maria Benedi how much he loves her as the couple exchanged vows at La Catedral de Santa Maria de Teruel, the house of worship in the city where the entertainer grew to manhood. According to Hola magazine online, 210 guests watched the bride walk down the aisle in a strapless ivory wedding dress created by Pronovias designer Anibal Laguna, the gown’s cascading tiers of organza and lace and the ruffled edge of her tulle veil gently fluttering as she made her way to the altar, where the groom waited in a black morning jacket, which he paired with a green vest and a tie in a matching hue.

Following the afternoon ceremony, the newlyweds were greeted with a shower of red rose petals as they made their way from the church to a reception held at el Parador Nacional de Turismo.
