92607: Kerry Katona’s September Wedding Vow Renewal

The ornate onion dome atop Italy’s Villa Crespi Hotel, which looks out daily over the serene waters of Lake Orta, was a silent witness to the arrival of guests who gathered at the Orta San Gulio retreat in early September 2007 to witness former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona once again proclaim her love to her husband of the past eight months, Mark Croft. The bride, who had said “I do” originally in an intimate ceremony on Valentine’s Day at a chapel on the grounds of the Mill Hotel in Gretna Green, Scotland, donned a white, strapless wedding dress created with a full ballgown skirt by Philip Armstrong for the formal celebration of their union.

Following the exchange of vows, the newlyweds cut slices of a three-tier wedding cake at a reception, and as the night wore on, junior bridesmaids in angelic white dresses joined hands with the groom and, encircling the bride, danced for joy– an image that was captured for posterity in the pages of OK! magazine, which covered the happy event.
