61907: Jeri Ryan’s French Castle Wedding

French chef Christophe Eme found the perfect recipe for romance in the words of Robert Browning, and in 2006 the co-owner of the L.A. eatery Ortolan painted the poet’s famous ode to love on a mural to win the hand of his partner in the restaurant business, actress Jeri Ryan. The couple took the sentiments behind the poem’s verses “Grow old along with me, The best is yet to be” to heart on June 16, 2007, when the woman who portrayed Seven of Nine on “Star Trek: Voyager” donned a Vera Wang creation and embarked on a happy future with the man she loves on the grounds of Chateau de Noirieux. The 15th century manor provided a regal backdrop as the bride walked past the 120 friends and family members who had gathered amid the fragrant lime trees and botanical beauty of the castle’s garden.

According to People magazine, event production and design company Oh, How Charming!, the creative force behind the romantic ambiance enjoyed by basketball star Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa at their 2005 vow renewal, handled the wedding details.
