During his years as Manchester United’s forward, sports fans dubbed Eric Cantona “The King” for his prowess on the playing field. On June 16, 2007 the former soccer star, today a star of the silver screen in France, took French actress Rachida Brakni to be his queen in an intimate ceremony in Paris. Following the nuptials, family members joined the newlyweds at musée des Arts Forains for a reception held amid the carousel horses and decorative fair memorabilia that call the Bercy museum home.
