Michelle Kwan, who has stood on the podium at two Olympic games, has announced that she’s making plans to stand at the altar with the man she loves.
The athlete who has skated rings around her competition is now sporting an engagement ring which was slipped on her finger by Clay Pell, who works on the White House’s National Security Council.
People.com reports that the pair, who have been an item since the spring of 2011, are currently enjoying their first days as fiancés after becoming betrothed on September 3rd on Block Island, a top tourist spot off the coast of Rhode Island which has been dubbed one of the “The Last Great Places” by The Nature Conservancy.
