Never one to opt for a safe silhouette, Cate Blanchett tred her own trend-setting path on the red carpet in this Givenchy Haute Couture creation. Dollops of a mustard hue added highlights to the heliotrope-colored creation, which was paired with jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels.
While her name wasn’t called when Kirk Douglas announced the recipient of the Best Supporting Actress award, Amy Adams sparkled like the star she is in a L’Wrenn Scott design from the dark end of the color spectrum with deep blue undertones.
Making a nostalgic nod to the 1950’s into a fashion forward moment, Oscar winner Marisa Tomei looked like a dream in a vintage aubergine Charles James design. Beneath the tulle skirt a pair of Jimmy Choos walked the actress down the red carpet.
Scarlett Johansson chose a garnet gown from Dolce & Gabbana. Louboutin pumps peeked out from beneath the lace creation.
