Food fans flocked to 222 East 44th Street on May 4, 2010 to watch Rachael Ray launch Gray Line New York’s Ride of Fame. Showing the city’s attractions to tourists since 1926, the premier double-decker bus and motorcoach company chose the celebrity chef as the inaugural honoree for the series of A-list image-adorned sightseeing buses.
Fifty fans got a taste of the Big Apple on a ride aboard the red double-decker with the Emmy-winning culinary queen, who was also awarded an unlimited lifetime All Loops Tour pass to see New York City’s landmarks in the downtown area, uptown Manhattan, Brooklyn and by the light of the moon on a Night Tour.
Tourists can “ride” the bus each day throughout the promotional month. Each month a new luminary will be honored by Gray Line New York’s Ride of Fame, with mogul Donald Trump scheduled to be the next influential inductee.
