Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher Marry

There were no Wedding Crashers in sight as Isla Fisher was pronounced the wife of comedic actor Sacha Baron Cohen. A private pair dreaming of an intimate “I do,” only six guests were invited to witness the culmination of an eight-year romance which led to an engagement six years ago.

According to Australia’s Woman’s Day, a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony was performed as the sun set on March 15, 2010 during the bride and groom’s stay in Paris, which included a week spent at the Hotel Ritz.

Although only a privileged few were on hand to wish the newlyweds happiness on their special day, the bride shared their joy with friends in an e-mail: “It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much.”

“I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss – just us!”
