R&B Singer Amerie Engaged

Two-time Grammy Award-nominated singer Amerie, whose single “1 Thing” revved up the romance on the soundtrack of the 2005 Will Smith comedy Hitch, is planning to get hitched to her manager boyfriend, Lenny Nicholson.

According to Contactmusic.com, the bride-to-be– who released her latest CD “In Love and War” in 2009– accepted a pink diamond engagement ring in late February from her beau, who knelt on one knee and slipped the sparkler on her finger as he proposed during a dream getaway to Paris, France.

Currently enjoying their first days as fiances, the happy couple have yet to announce a date for their impending walk down the aisle.
