Princess Diana’s Brother Engaged

Each year from July through August, visitors at Althorp relive a moment in romantic royal history as they file past the wedding dress worn by a young Lady Diana Spencer, who was transformed into Diana, Princess of Wales on the day she said “I do.” According to Plymouth’s The Herald, another Spencer is now making plans to marry.

Following an 18-month courtship, Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer– the 9th Earl Spencer– has asked for the hand of Lady Bianca Eliot, the widow of Lord Jago Eliot. The bride-to-be, whose ring finger is now graced with a diamond and emerald sparkler, and her intended (who was previously wed to Victoria Lockwood and Caroline Freud) are currently contemplating the possibility of a September ceremony.
