Actor Michael Vartan Engaged

In 2005 Michael Vartan starred as a prospective groom in the romantic comedy Monster-in-Law, and now the former Alias cast member has revealed to People magazine that he has taken on that role in real life.

Vartan (who currently stars in the TNT drama Hawthorne) found the perfect ingredients for true love when he first met bride-to-be Lauren Skaar in the parking lot of the Los Angeles branch of a Whole Foods market in 2009. Having asked for her hand in marriage in early March 2010, the pair are planning to exchange vows in 2011.
