No doubt fans were grinning like the proverbial Cheshire cat at the sight of Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson atop the Margarita Delacort Memorial, Central Park's shrine to Lewis Carroll's classic Alice'sAdventures in Wonderland, as cameras rolled on the romantic drama Remember Me on June 30, 2009.
Looking much like a work of art himself as he sat in contemplation amid the company of a bronze Mad Hatter, March Hare and The White Rabbit, Pattinson was composed as a pack of paparazzi, growing "curiouser and curiouser," captured the moments on film.
For those who wish to visit the vision of sculptor Jose de Creeft, the Margarita Delacorte Memorial-- which has been enthusiastically climbed upon by children since 1959-- is located at 76th St. near Fifth Avenue close to the Conservatory Lake in Central Park.
Although the final rose she received from The Bachelor's Jason Mesnick turned out to have thorns, reality personality Melissa Rycroft has announced that her days of hoping for one long-stemmed flower from a beau are over, exchanged for the promise of a bridal bouquet.
Relaying the happy news on Good Morning America, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant confided to fans that she has accepted a June 26 proposal from her friend-turned-fiance, Tye Strickland.
According to People magazine, the prospective groom asked for his love's hand in marriage amid the reverential atmosphere of White's Chapel in Southlake, Texas. Wanting to share their joy with those closest to their hearts, the betrothed twosome dined with their parents at Brio Tuscan Grille at Southlake Town Square before enjoying a festive evening with friends at Cretia's restaurant.
The bride-to-be and her fiance have not divulged a date for their impending I do's.
Which stars shined brightest at the Shrine Auditorium during the 9th annual BET Awards? Here are Lovetripper's picks for the evening's top frocks:

2) Fearne Chambers, a star of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, has the runner-up spot sewn up with this refined design. Pleated to perfection, a jeweled accent at the waist added an extra touch of elegance.
3) A vision in a vest and ultra slim cigarette pants, America's Next Top Model lead judge Tyra Banks created a sense of mystique with her masculine-inspired attire. TyTy's loose tie provided an ultra feminine touch to the ensemble.
4) Beyonce's Balmain dress gave her ample opportunity to show off her glamorous gams. The kaleidoscopic combination of green, red, blue and black sequins dazzled delighted fans outside the Shrine Auditorium as the performer promenaded past the paparazzi in a pair of purple pumps.

Honorable Mentions
Soap star Tatyana Ali offered a bit of evening drama with this curve-conscious creation, obviously designed with the retro romantic in mind. The garment's bronze tone, which is echoed in the star's pair of peep toe shoes, allowed both the inner and outer beauty of the actress to glow in the early evening light.
Just days after suiting up for a celebrity softball pre-game at Riverfront Stadium, this bit of baby blue fabric showcased Adrienne Bailon's fit figure. A string of stacked necklaces offered an exotic edge to this summer style.
The Holmby Hills home of publishing icon Hugh Hefner may be accustomed to the sight of Playmates, but on June 27, 2009 the mansion transformed into a site for soul mates as Hef's former honey Kendra Wilkinson said "I do" to her love, NFL star Hank Baskett.
Linking arms with her brother Colin, the reality personality peered from behind the diaphanous blusher of her veil at the 300 guests who rose in her honor as she began her walk down the aisle. The sun's last rays dancing on the facets of her diamond and platinum Michael Barin jewelry, the bride made her way toward her groom, who presented her with a band to accompany the 2 1/4-carat princess cut diamond engagement ring from Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelers, which has graced her finger since November 2008.

Denzel Washington and Wife Celebrate Wedding Anniversary in Italy
Although tradition states that pearls are a gift given in celebration of a couple's 30th wedding anniversary, two-time Academy Award winner Denzel Washington and his wife Pauletta Pearson Washington recently rang in their 26th year of marriage with a romantic getaway to an seaside resort dubbed the "Pearl of the Mediterranean"-- Ponza, Italy.
Having fallen in love in 1977 on the set of Wilma-- Washington's first foray on screen-- Denzel and Pauletta said "I do" on June 25, 1983, followed 12 years later with a vow renewal in a South African ceremony officiated by Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Slipping his feet into a pair of flip flops, rocker Eddie Van Halen was "standing on top of the world for a little while" on June 27, 2009 as he watched Janie Liszewski, his love of the past three years, walk down the aisle. Feeling that there's no place like home to begin their life together as husband and wife, the couple had requested the presence of 100 friends and family members in the garden of their Studio City, California residence to help them celebrate the happy event.
The mother of his child and his friend forever, Eddie Van Halen's former wife Valerie Bertinelli was among the guests to catch a glimpse of the bride as she made her grand entrance in a Hanna Hartnell creation, designed with blush pink detailing against warm champagne-hued silk which harmonized with the fur of the bride's Pomeranian Kano, who escorted his human parent down a white rose petal path toward the groom (who wore all white for the occasion) to the tune of the Van Halen hit "When It's Love," performed by L.A.-based spring ensemble the Sonus Quartet.
The facets of her Bulgari jewelry twinkling in the waning evening light, Liszewski presented the performer with a yellow diamond-studded gold band during the nondenominational ceremony, while the groom gifted his bride with a platinum band to accompany the engagement ring that has graced her finger since Van Halen's August 4, 2008 proposal inside Tiffany's during a Hawaiian getaway.
Making theirs a family affair, Van Halen's son Wolfgang stood by his father in the role of best man while the groom's brother Alex Van Halen, who has stood so often on stage with the guitar god, pronounced the couple husband and wife.
Toasting to their union with nonalcoholic beverages, the newlyweds joined their guests poolside for a post-wedding feast of French fries, corn dogs and mini-hamburgers followed by glazed grilled chicken and filet mignon before sampling slices of a flower-bedecked white chocolate cake.
The newly dubbed Mr. and Mrs. are scheduled to embark on a honeymoon excursion that will take them to New York, Germany and the Netherlands, People magazine reports.

Kendra Wilkinson may have proudly flashed a diamond-studded grill during her days in the Playboy mansion, but for her wedding day the reality personality has chosen tradition over current trends, and will wear platinum and diamond jewelry created by Michael Barin when she pledges her love to Hank Baskett.
While all brides beam on the day they say "I do," Hef's former honey will have extra sparkle thanks to more than $100,000 worth of Barin's bijoux, including a $47,000 pair of platinum drop earrings with 4.25 carats of diamonds, a $33,700 platinum pendant with 2.50 carats of diamonds and a $21,00 platinum bracelet with 4.50 carats of diamonds.
The star of her own E! series will not be the first famous face to dazzle in diamonds from Michael Barin. Without A Trace cast member Roselyn Sanchez wears a 4.3-carat brilliant cut engagement ring and wedding band made by the jeweler, and donned more of Barin's designs for special day.
French President Sarkozy, Lee Radziwill Attend Wedding of Prada Executive
The devil may wear Prada, but the designer label's executive Mathilde Agostinelli looked like an angel when she arrived at city hall in Paris' 16th arrondissement on June 23, 2009 to exchange vows with fashion photographer Antoine Meyer. Wearing a flirty white frock and casual cardigan paired with seductive silver stilettos, the bride's wedding day dress was a marriage of innocence and intrigue as she walked down the aisle.
The stylish civil ceremony was a gathering of high society and famous faces, including President Nicolas Sarkozy (who had invited Agostinelli to attend his nuptials with Carla Bruni) and Lee Radziwill (sister of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis), PurePeople reported.

Football Stars Enjoy NFL Legends Retreat in Cancun
Trading the feel of playing turf beneath their feet for sand between their toes, football greats Isaiah Stanback (wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys), former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Drew Pearson, former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Everson Walls and former wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles Vince Papale participated in the NFL Legends retreat in Cancun recently.
As a balmy ocean breeze blew in, the palm trees that line the exterior of The Royal and Gran Caribe Real Cancun resorts on Hotel Zone waved a welcome to the star athletes upon their arrival for autograph and photograph sessions with fans. Although Monday June 22nd marked the end of their excursion, while packing his luggage for a flight home Drew Pearson may have been dreaming of a return visit. Reminiscing about his first stay on the island, the sportscaster exclaimed ..."now that I see Cancun I can tell it's a beautiful place, where everything is first class and everybody gets a special treatment. I am scheduled to leave on Monday, but I don't think I am gonna make it; they will need to kick me out of here."

Since the latter half of the 19th century the steady rumble of wheels has echoed across Atlantic City's Boardwalk as passengers are pushed in rolling chairs along the familiar wooden plank path. Almost 239 years to the day after the first portion of the Boardwalk opened to the public, however, actress Jennifer Aniston-- portraying a woman on the run in a scene from the upcoming action flick Bounty Hunter-- found a faster-moving mode of transportation as she hopped into a bike taxi for her trek along the trail.
Jennifer's jaunt down the landmark New Jersey tourist attraction may have taken her as far as the movie's next filming destination, the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority reports. Its colorful onion-domed exterior lording over the Boardwalk and the carnival rides at nearby Steel Pier, the architectural marvel owned by mogul Donald Trump is a star in its own right, with its poker room playing a role in the 1998 drama Rounders.
"One crowded hour of glorious life is worth an age without a name."-- Sir Walter Scott
A poignant reminder to seize the day, '70's icon Farrah Fawcett has decided to grasp her crowded hour, spending each precious moment with the man who has asked for her hand so many times before over the years-- actor Ryan O'Neal, the New York Daily News reports.
Having already been a presence in each other's lives off and on for more than a quarter of a century, the couple-- whose love story has produced one son (Redmond)-- have formed a bond which has only been strengthened as the former Charlie's Angels star has raged a battle against cancer over the past three years. As no one is ever guaranteed tomorrow, the actress has now decided to honor their commitment to each other by saying "I do," O'Neal has relayed in an interview with Barbara Walters, which will air on the news program 20/20.
UPDATE: Although together in both sickness and in health over the years, marriage was not meant to be for Farrah Fawcett and her longtime love, Ryan O'Neal. Days after accepting O'Neal's proposal, the TV icon passed away on June 25, 2009 at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California.

No doubt the reality personality will wear a wardrobe with a "wow" factor for her six-episode stint on A Beautiful Life, a drama debuting this fall on The CW.
4) Although it was her lack of clothing that first caught the public's eye, JaydeNicole's flirtatious frock with its lace embellishments proves that the 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year is a fashion forward femme fatale.
5) The provocative pewter and black combo Fergie wore added a little "Boom Boom Pow" to the red carpet.
In June 2007, soccer star Joe Cole and his love Carly Zucker were among the guests seated in the pews at St. Peter's Church to witness the wedding of Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick and Lisa Roughhead. Two years later the couples found their roles reversed as Michael Carrick and his wife joined Chelsea and England captain John Terry, fellow soccer star Scott Sinclair, EastEnders cast member Kara Tointon and approximately 150 friends and family members as they rose from their places inside Royal Hospital in Chelsea in honor of Carly Zucker as she began her walk down the aisle. During the ceremony guests witnessed the groom slip a wedding band on his bride's finger to accompany the £50,000 engagement ring which has graced Zucker's left hand for the past two years.
The newly pronounced Mrs., who recently said so long to the single life with a bachelorette party at London nightclub Mahiki, has kept the style of her "I do" dress (which the Mirror indicates was purchased at bespoke wedding supplier Ana Cristache) a secret which will only be revealed to the public upon the publication of the magazine chosen to present the details of the couple's special day.

Only days away from saying "I do" to her football star fiance Hank Baskett, Kendra Wilkinson bid a fond farewell to her former footloose and fancy free lifestyle with a fete that included at least one familiar face-- another of Hef's former honeys, Bridget Marquardt.
Gathering at Hollywood's Guys and Dolls bar-lounge (a hot spot owned by former daytime drama heartthrob Michael Sutton, who portrayed Stone Cates on General Hospital), pals bearing provocative presents for the bride-to-be stopped at the door to record video messages for the guest of honor before sampling servings of Sprinkles cupcakes, US magazine revealed.

An up close look at Kendra Wilkinson's 2 1/4 carat, princess-cut diamond engagement ring, which is embellished with 60 smaller diamonds. The CMT Awards have been handed out, but which country crooners were the couture queens of the event? Here are Lovetripper's picks for the evening's top frocks:
1) Taylor Swift, who took home CMT buckles for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, also wins top prize for her attire. Wearing a flirtatious frock by Collette Dinnigan, a pair of Prada heels took the singer down the red carpet.
Our "Love Story" with Taylor's look continued with her choice of a black fringed frock which, when paired with knee-high boots, brought a bit of go go girl glam to her collaboration with 80's rock icons Def Leppard.
2) "That Song in My Head" may not have garnered her an award, but Julianne Hough is a winner in the wardrobe department. The Dancing with the Stars competitor/country crooner waltzed her way into the number two position on our countdown with this cute coral creation by Jenny Packham.
3) Kellie Pickler, whose tune "Don't You Know You're Beautiful" was nominated for female video of the year, surely had an inkling that she was an eye-catcher in this bronze Badgley Mischka design which poured over her fit frame like molten metal as she sashayed past photographers.
4) Before taking the stage with the B-52s for a rousing rendition of "Love Shack," Sugarland vocalist Jennifer Nettles took the crowd's breathe away as she walked the red carpet in angular attire with a body-hugging bustier by Rachel Roy.
5) A little black dress never fails to impress. Nashville gal Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum was a knockout in this noir number.

Although the details of the ceremony are currently shrouded in secrecy, early reports indicate that the bride's former Hear'Say band mates Noel Sullivan and Danny Foster were among the guests to wish the newlyweds happiness in their new life together.
While some believe that love flies in on the wings of a dove, it was an owl that was the bearer of the wedding bands that symbolize the everlasting bond between Manchester United defender Wes Brown and his love Leanne Wassell when the couple said "I do". Swooping down on the shoulder of the best man, "Ollie" presented a leather pouch containing the rings which were slipped on the lovebirds' fingers on June 13, 2009 in a ceremony held at Peckforton Castle, the North-West Evening Mail reports.

Perhaps thinking of her own 2005 wedding, actress Samia Smith was also among the guests to watch Hudson walk down the aisle in a gown that would later be covered with a black cloak during the bride's exit from the house of worship, providing the public only a peek of her peep-toe shoes the Daily Mail reports.

While only time will tell if the final rose ceremony will lead to everlasting love for The Bachelorette, there's no denying that the show's latest reality romantic will take from her adventure for amour a bouquet of memories which will include a getaway to Whistler, British Columbia, a destination which will host many of the events in the 2010 Olympic Games.
Cameras rolled in April 2009 as Jillian Harris and the 10 remaining men vying to win her affection unpacked their luggage at The Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Not only a site for the suitors and their sweetheart to stay, the retreat's Mallard Terrace would provide a place for a romantic repast and its Wine Cellar a spot where nine nine gentleman would receive a rose, symbolizing the continuation of their courtship for one more week.
The beauty of the Canadian wilderness provided a dramatic backdrop for love's potential as Harris and her would-be honeys enjoyed a snowmobile excursion, courtesy of Outdoor Adventures at Whistler, to Callaghan Lodge. Later, love was literally in the air as The Bachelorette and one potential beau flew over the valleys on a Ziptrek tour, (which ended with the couple clinking glasses in the private wine cellar of Bearfoot Bistro) while another date involved a ski plane flight to Champagne Glacier.
A ride aboard the new PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola was the perfect way to say goodbye to Whistler. Jillian Harris will share her experiences from her trip when the two-hour episode of The Bachelorette airs on ABC on June 15, 2009. See a sneak peek at the episode in the clip below:
It was love all for tennis legend Boris Becker as he exchanged vows with Sharlely "Lilly" Kerssenberg on June 12, 2009. The steps of the Seganini Museum in St. Moritz proved to be a stairway to heaven for the pair as they entered the St. Moritz venue for the civil ceremony.

Since first catching the public's attention back in 1999 in the sci-fi series Roswell, actor Colin Hanks' talent has led to a trajectory of silver screen performances in Orange County, King Kong, Untraceable and The House Bunny. Just 45 minutes after obtaining their license to wed, the nighttime nuptials took place at La Bella Wedding Chapel at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. The pews were empty as the bride made her way down the aisle toward the groom, who donned a suit and tie for the occasion.

A popular place for stars to celebrate their new lives together, the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa-- the California retreat where Private Practice's Kate Walsh enjoyed her wedding reception and fellow cast member KaDee Strickland said "I do" to Roswell star Jason Behr-- welcomed the 200 friends and family members who stood in honor of the bride as she strolled past in a strapless Carolina Herrera creation, her diaphanous veil dancing joyfully with each breath of air as her shoes followed the fragrant path of white rose petals and herbs which led her to her love.
Once pronounced husband and wife, People magazine reports that the newlyweds and their guests convened to the Hacienda ballroom, which was aglow with the flicker of candlelight during the reception.
Broadway's brightest shined at the 63rd annual Tony Awards, held at Radio City Music Hall on June 7, 2009. Who wore the best showstopping styles? Here are Lovetripper's picks of the evening's top frocks:
1) The Devil Wears Prada star Anne Hathaway looked heavenly in her Oscar de la Renta design as she introduced a number performed by the cast of Hair. A pair of crimson Christian Louboutin shoes carried the actress to the podium and, along with a ruby ring, introduced a pop of color to her knockout noir frock.
2) Class with a dash of sass, the plunging neckline and belted waist on this Reem Acra design highlights the sleek physique of perennial beauty Jane Fonda.
3) Although it's the character of Maria who sings "I Feel Pretty," performer KarenOlivo-- who won a Tony for her role of Anita in the revival of West Side Story-- no doubt felt like singing the classic tune when she slipped into this Donna Karan creation.
4) Although movie buffs may forever see her as one of The Goonies, today Martha Plimpton mesmerizes ticket holders as a Tony-nominated star of Pal Joey. Her sophisticated, off-the-shoulder silhouette is definitely a winner.
5) Soon to star alongside John Stamos in Broadway's production of Bye Bye Birdie, the audience said a collective "Hello!" as Gina Gershon stepped on stage in this seductive Zuhair Murad creation. Fred Leighton jewelry added extra sparkle to the star's entrance.
Honorable Mentions
No color conveys drama quite like black, a hue which was the hit of the evening. However, a number of notables looked lovely in jewel tones. Here are two of our favorites:
A Broadway treasure, Tony Award winner Alice Ripley won in the fashion stakes as well with this sapphire blue beauty, which has a style that offers a hint of Old Hollywood glamor.
A long way from Stars Hollow, actress Lauren Graham of Gilmore Girls fame-- who is currently wowing crowds on The Great White Way as Adelaide in a revival of Guys and Dolls-- was a verdant vision in this one-shoulder silhouette, which was accented with a dainty black bow.
Seated in the pews at Brick Presbyterian Church in New York on June 4, 2009, no doubt images of the day they said "I do" brought smiles to the faces of mogul Donald Trump and Melania Trump and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones as they watched Suzanne Ircha walk down the aisle toward the father of her two young sons, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson.
According to the New York Post, 150 friends and family members witnessed the union, then followed the newlyweds to a reception at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Woody Johnson was previously married to Sale Johnson, who exchanged vows with sportscaster/former football star Ahmad Rashad in November 2007.

Only one week remaining before their walk down the aisle, tennis great Boris Becker and Sharlely "Lilly" Kerssenberg, his soon-to-be Mrs., took a stroll down the Champs Elysees to the Dephine Manivet bridal boutique on June 4th for a pre-wedding day shopping excursion. Holding a plethora of purchases, the beaming bride-to-be left the swank shop with items for her "I do," which will take place June 12th at the Swiss ski resort of St. Moritz, the Daily Mail revealed.
Paris in the springtime is made for lovers, and the pair no doubt felt on top of the world as they enjoyed a romantic repast that June afternoon at Le Jules Verne restaurant, the Eiffel Tower's second level eatery which holds a special place in the heart of Tom Cruise, who chose the site for his proposal to Katie Holmes in 2005. The couple continued their stay in the City of Light in a suite at The Ritz Hotel.
Paulina Rubio Deemed Tourism Ambassador of Quintana Roo
Not even the rays of sunlight that bronzed sunbathers on the beach in Cancun could compete with the beaming smile of "Golden Girl" Paulina Rubio as the Latin superstar graciously accepted the title of Tourism Ambassador of Quintana Roo from the Mexican state's Governor, Felix Gonzalez.
Showing the world in 2007 that the Riviera Maya had recovered from the devastating effects of Hurricane Wilma, the recording artist recited her wedding vows with her long-time love Nicolas "Colate" Vallejo-Najera. Two years later, the blonde beauty has once again come to the aid of the land she holds close to her heart as she vowed in the presence of reporters at Le Blanc Spa Resort her intention to promote tourism in the area.

Jack Black, Catherine Tate Filming "Gulliver's Travels"
Former Doctor Who star Catherine Tate had no need of the Tardis for her latest journey. The comedienne currently finds herself in the land of the Lilliputians as cameras roll on the upcoming big screen adaptation of Gulliver's Travels.
Mixing dark shades with the stylized silhouettes of yesteryear, the actress strolled around Old Royal Naval College recently as she waited for her cue. A baroque beauty standing on the south bank of the River Thames, the Sir Christopher Wren-created architectural wonder is a star in its own right, having appeared in The Mummy Returns, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Four Weddings and A Funeral. Proud of its cinematic past, visitors are encouraged to explore the Greenwich London landmark's Hollywood history in a self-guided Movie Magic tour, running June 6 - 14th.
The elaborate ensembles worn by Tate as well as other cast members Jack Black (who will portray the movie's literary lead Lemuel Gulliver) and Billy Connolly seemed to fit their sophisticated surroundings when the troupe of thespians filmed at Blenheim Palace in May. A popular sightseeing attraction, a virtual vision of a chambermaid takes tourists through 300 years of history at the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Another example of Baroque architecture, the dignified domain has also previously appeared on the silver screen in Kenneth Branaugh's version of Hamlet and The Young Victoria, a retelling of Queen Victoria's early years which starred another member of Gulliver's Travels cast, Emily Blunt.

Top 5 Best Dressed Stars at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards
Who were the red carpet winners at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards? Here are Lovetripper's favorite frocks of the evening:
1) Disney darling Vanessa Hudgens walked up on stage in a pair of Jimmy Choo's that peeked out from the handkerchief hemline of her mango-hued Max Azria maxi-dress, a casually chic creation perfect for the upcoming summer season.
2) Could Twilight star Ashley Greene foretell that her frock would be a hit on the red carpet? The actress, who portrays 100-year-old vampire Alice Cullen in the cinematic retelling of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling novels, opted for a romantic retro look from Dolce & Gabbana.
3) The daring Emilio De La Morena design worn by Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester definitely had tongues wagging. The CW cutie paired the body-conscious creation with mulberry-hued Brian Atwood mini-boots for a pop of color.
4) No doubt fashionistas will be flocking to buy Sienna Miller's Twenty8Twelve brand of clothing after the star's sparkling appearance in a little number from her label's Fall 2009 collection. Tying the look together, the actress carried a classic Chanel clutch.
5) Staying true to her surname, Megan Fox was a vixen vision in a Dolce & Gabbana gam-baring dress. Its gold embellishments picking up the bronzed glow of her complexion, the Transformers star left the crowd transfixed as she strolled the carpet in a pair of Christian Louboutin stiletto sandals.
Honorable Mention
Although a slightly mature silhouette for the 16-year-old star, the buff-toned Moschino Cheap & Chic creation Miley Cyrus chose for the evening assures fans that she will continue "The Climb" up the couture ladder.
