Pearl Jam Frontman Eddie Vedder Engaged

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder may have belted out a Bruce Springsteen tune during a tribute to The Boss for the Kennedy Center Honors, but the alt rocker no doubt felt like singing for a different reason, as his lady love had recently accepted his proposal of marriage.

According to E! online, Vedder asked for model Jill McCormick’s hand in marriage on December 4, 2009 during their stay in the nation’s capital. Their union will be the culmination of a relationship already blessed by the births of two daughters.

Currently enjoying the first days of betrothed bliss, the happy couple have yet to announce a date for their impending I do’s.
