Since 2005 Kevin Jonas has been one-third of The Jonas Brothers, but on the evening of December 19, 2009 the eldest of the singing sensations became one half of a duo that will live in harmony for a lifetime as he said “I do” to Danielle Deleasa.
Following in the footsteps of fellow boy bander Joey Fatone, the groom chose to begin married life at Oheka Castle in Long Island. According to People magazine, 400 guests– including Disney darling Demi Lovato– gathered to gaze at the bride as she began her walk down the aisle in a fairytale frock composed of tulle and Chantilly lace by designer to the stars Vera Wang.
Recreating a magical memory of the first time their eyes met during a stay in the Bahamas in 2007, the bride donned floral finery in her hair– a silk and crystal creation by the custom headpiece design studio of Denise Leli which enhanced the botanical beauty of the bride’s bouquet by Pedestal Florists.
Accustomed to sharing stages around globe, brothers Joe and Nick Jonas proudly stood by their sibling in the roles of best men for the ceremony, in which the happy couple presented each other with Jacob and Co. wedding bands. The bride’s symbol of commitment will now rest on her finger next to the Jacob and Co. sparkler she has worn since July 2009– a 3-carat, cushion-cut diamond engagement ring embraced by 210 brilliant-cut pave diamonds.
Recognizing that it is indeed a small world after all, the star of The Disney Channel series JONAS and his newly-pronounced Mrs. mingled with guests after the ceremony at a reception featuring a fusion of world foods, including Asian, Caribbean and Italian, along with vegetarian fare.
