Meryl Streep's Daughter Engaged

Mamie Gummer, who has followed in the famous footsteps of her Oscar-winning mother Meryl Streep with appearances on stage and the big screen, has announced that she is planning to walk down the aisle.

Having shared screen time in the short film All Saints Day and the Braodway stage in a production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses during their 18-month courtship, actor Ben Walker is now ready to take on the role of husband. According to People online, the prospective groom knelt when he presented a custom-made engagement ring to his bride-to-be on October 18, 2009.
