Bollywood Star Shilpa Shetty Engaged

Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty, who recently stepped in front of the camera with costars Edward Furlong and Dennis Hopper for the upcoming film Forever, took her first step toward a lifetime of love as she exchanged rings in an engagement ceremony with businessman Raj Kundra.

According to Puggal.com, family and friends gathered at the prospective groom’s apartment in Mumbia, India on October 24, 2009 to offer their best wishes to the future husband and his Celebrity Big Brother-winning bride-to-be, who donned a pink saree edged in red fabric by movie costume designer Manish Malhotra for the intimate pre-I do’s. (Designer Tarun Tahiliani has reportedly created bridal attire for the actress, Filmicafe reports.)

The happy couple plan to become Mr. and Mrs. by the end of the calendar year.
