1) Befitting the current queen of crossover hits, Taylor Swift arrived in a royal ride. Stepping out of a Cinderella-style carriage, the night’s winner for Best Female Video revealed her couture choice for the event– a Kaufman Franco Resort design. Twinkling in the lights outside the Big Apple’s venerated venue, the sparkle of her Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewelry was matched by the dazzle of the singer’s smile.

2) Flanked by her onscreen beaus, star of the Twilight saga Kristen Stewart was a vision in Valentino, which she paired with House of Lavande jewelry. The metallic sheen made Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester’s complexion positively glow as she stepped on to the red carpet in a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Cathy Waterman jewelry and a Bottega Veneta clutch purse provided an added touch of glamor to the garment.

5) Announcing– partially in Spanish– the award for Best Pop Video, Nelly Furtado looked muy caliente in this somber-hued silhouette from Elie Saab.
