Robert Pattinson Filming at Historic Ice Cream Parlor in Queens
Ever since he stepped on to the silver screen as lovelorn vamp Edward Cullen in Twilight, Robert Pattinson has been eye candy for millions of adorning fans, so perhaps there is no more fitting setting for sightseers to catch a glimpse of the star than a spot that sells sweet treats. As cameras began to roll on a scene from his upcoming drama Remember Me, a pair of crimson doors acted as a portal from the past as Pattinson walked along the century-old store's historical hexagon-tiled floor and emerged from Eddie's Sweet Shop on to the sidewalk in the Queens neighborhood of Forest Hills.
While the nostalgic ice cream parlor-- with its neon soda sign beckoning customers to come inside and take a seat on a swivel stool at the counter-- served as a cinematic site, the delectable desserts may have inspired the star to sample some sweets during his time off the set. According to People magazine, RPattz pleased his palate with a cappuccino and chocolate mousse recently at Martine's Fine Bakery Shoppe in Tuckahoe, New York.
