As she celebrates her appearance as Polly Hamilton in the summer box office hit Public Enemies, Leelee Sobieski is also preparing for another role– that of wife to the man she loves, menswear designer Adam Kimmel. The actress subtly showed off a marquise-shaped sparkler at the June 23, 2009 premiere of the mob-themed movie.
The couple’s impending nuptials will be the first for the screen star, who said a cinematic “I do” in the 1998 disaster flick Deep Impact, one of her first feature films. Currently enjoying their betrothed status, US magazine reports that the actress– who is fluent in French– boarded a plane for Paris the day after the movie premiere for a romantic rendezvous with her fiance.
