Robert Pattinson Filming in Central Park
No doubt fans were grinning like the proverbial Cheshire cat at the sight of Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson atop the Margarita Delacort Memorial, Central Park's shrine to Lewis Carroll's classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, as cameras rolled on the romantic drama Remember Me on June 30, 2009.Looking much like a work of art himself as he sat in contemplation amid the company of a bronze Mad Hatter, March Hare and The White Rabbit, Pattinson was composed as a pack of paparazzi, growing "curiouser and curiouser," captured the moments on film.
For those who wish to visit the vision of sculptor Jose de Creeft, the Margarita Delacorte Memorial-- which has been enthusiastically climbed upon by children since 1959-- is located at 76th St. near Fifth Avenue close to the Conservatory Lake in Central Park.
